Life is sexually transmitted, literally, but we still struggle to accept our sexual nature. Which makes it exponentially harder to accept the sexual nature other people, especially if the other person is your child.
I truly believe that normalizing conversations about sex and sexuality is one of the keys to healing rape culture.
We are raising future adults and it’s time we armed them with the tools that cultivate consent, mutual respect, and responsibility.
